Delete Your Account

Two ways to do it. No app install required to read this page.

1. In the app (instant)

Open Someone → Settings → Account → Delete Account → confirm. This performs an immediate, permanent hard delete — there is no waiting period and nothing to undo afterward.

2. By email (if you can't sign in)

Lost your device, can't receive an OTP, or otherwise can't get into the app? Email us from an address you control and tell us the phone number your account is registered under.

We verify the request is really you, then delete the account manually. We aim to complete email-requested deletions within 5 business days of verification.

What gets deleted

Note: if content you posted was already visible to your circle before deletion (e.g. an Ask someone saw, or a Word you gave about them), we can't erase what another person already saw or remembered — but it's removed from the platform.

This is a genuine hard delete, not a deactivation. Once it runs, the data is gone — we don't keep a backup copy "just in case," and there's no 30-day undo window.
